As December nears the Castlegar and District Hospital Foundation gears up for Lighting Up the Health Centre, with it’s PLEDGE DAY coming up Friday, December 1st.
Castlegar & District Hospital Foundation’s ‘Light Up 2016’ update. The event proved to be successful as we not only met, but exceeded our goal of $25,000.00, reaching $30,000.00 plus!
Friday, December 2nd 2016 will be PLEDGE DAY for the 2016 Light Up campaign during which we will be fundraising for the balance of our commitment for medication room renovations in the emergency department of the Castlegar Health Centre and additional areas of need.
Pledge Day on Friday, December 4th brought festivities to the lobby of the Castlegar Health Centre. Visitors stopped by for refreshments and to make donations, media reps came out, Foundation Directors were in attendance and everyone watched as the fund thermometer grew to almost $19,000.

Pledge day took place on Friday, December 5th, seeing the lobby of the Castlegar Health Centre transformed into a festive and inviting reception area.
The Castlegar & District Hospital Foundation’s Light up 2014 goal includes bridging the gap for a second V.A.C. Therapy System 101.
It’s Light Up 2013 everyone and we’re asking the community to visit the Castlegar Health Centre on Friday, December 6th from 9:00am to 3:00pm to donate all you can for much needed equipment for all health care patients in our community.
