Friday, December 2nd 2016 will be PLEDGE DAY for the 2016 Light Up campaign during which we will be fundraising for the balance of our commitment for medication room renovations in the emergency department of the Castlegar Health Centre and additional areas of need. Currently these include a patient treatment chair valued at about $6500 and parallel bars for physiotherapy at a cost of $1600.
We are expanding the Pledge Day event this year to a new venue – the lower floor of the Element in downtown Castlegar. There will be lots of room, refreshments, door prizes and wonderful local entertainment. Our fundraising goal for LU 2016 is $25,000.
Please join us December 2nd anytime during 10:00 am to 4:00 pm at the Element. EZ Rock will be on the scene and the Castlegar News will be present at some point in the day. You can enter for a door prize, chat with directors, enjoy refreshments and some wonderful local entertainment!
