Working with the community to raise funds to assist in covering costs for equipment and services which continue to enhance wellness, patient care and residential care at the Castlegar & District Community Health Centre and Talarico Place.

Castlegar & District Hospital Foundation History
The Castlegar & District Hospital Foundation has been actively fundraising for over thirty years and was officially incorporated under the Society Act of British Columbia on October 30, 1987. Through community support and donations we are able to purchase much-needed medical equipment for the Castlegar Health Centre Emergency Department, Medical Lab, X-ray and other Departments and Talarico Place. To date, donations total over $462,000.00.
The Foundation is a charitable organization registered under the Income Tax Act, and as such is exempt from income tax and is able to issue receipts for income tax purposes. The Foundation’s Registered BN is 88806 4938 RR0001.
