- In Memory of Donations are accepted in the loss of their loved ones and will be used in providing comfort and care for the residents of Talarico Place or for Home Care Nursing or as specified by a donor. Thank you for your thoughtfulness.
- The Castlegar and District Hospital Foundation acknowledges the Community for donating to our Tim Hortons Smile Cookie fundraiser and Shopper's Drug Mart Tree of Life fund raising event. We were able to purchase the gynaecological stretcher which has arrived and is in use at the Castlegar Health Centre Emergency Department
- Your generous donations have helped us purchase the Heart Monitor and the Trauma Stretcher for the Emergency Department, Medicine Cart for Talarico Place and just recently the Child's Oximeter and Blood Gas Analyzer for the Lab. These much needed items are all in use at the Castlegar Health Centre. Thank you to all who supported the Foundation’s efforts.
- Thank you to the Castlegar and District Hospital Auxiliary for donating $3000.00.
- These donations enabled the Foundation to purchase a "sleeper chair". The chair does make into a bed and family members may rest with their loved ones.
- Thank you to Colleen and Brian Allarie from The Brick. Because of their support we were able to purchase a love seat, four sitting chairs, a cabinet and many other items that made these two rooms "homey". An LCD TV was graciously donated for the family room.
- Thanks to Oglow’s Paint & Wallcoverings Ltd. for their support in helping us with the paint, window coverings and the installation.
- Thank you to the Castlegar and District Hospice Society for donating 2 fridges, 1 for each room.
- Thank you Dale Monrad of Bearcave Web Services for moving the Castlegar & District Hospital Foundation forward by guiding us with the website information.

Castlegar and District Community Health Centre is a vital part of the Castlegar Community providing emergency services, x-ray and lab services. The Castlegar and District Hospital Foundation is fund raising for medical equipment that will be used at the Castlegar and District Community Health Centre and Talarico Place.

Gifts in kind are donations that have tangible dollar value, for example real estate, stocks, bonds, equipment or art. The fair market value of the gift is determined by a qualified party and a charitable tax receipt is provided for the appraised value of the asset.
