Health Care services

The Castlegar health care services are available to residents in: The City of Castlegar, Area "I" and "J" of the Central Kootenay Regional District, (which includes the communities of Pass Creek, Thrums, Tarrys, Shoreacres, Glade, Brilliant, Ootischenia, Robson, Renata, Deer Park, Brooklyn, Shields, Raspberry, Syringa, and Fairview).

We are committed to providing health-care programs and services that meet the needs of the people in Castlegar and the surrounding area. To help us do that, we have a Community Health and Wellness Advisory Team made up of members of the public, front line staff, a physician, Community Administrator and Mayor of Castlegar.

We think it is important to work closely with local organizations, service groups and government to create a healthy, caring and vibrant community.
